We're still looking for a president to lead our Alliance!

After the AGM, the committee was asked to put more information about the role on our website. Here's what's in our constitution:

    • represent the society
    • preside at committee meetings and general meetings of the society
    • ensure compliance with the constitution rules
    • provide guidance to the society

But, more generally, there's attendance at monthly committee meetings, voting on Alliance business, maintaining high standards of governance, and working with the committee to plan and deliver activities to make the AF even better!

For more information or to chat to someone about the role, send us an email. We'd love to hear from you!

The Fête de la Musique was created in France as a global celebration of music from around the world. Today it is celebrated the world over on the 21st June every year with free concerts, school shows and public performances. So that the maximum of people can enjoy the music, we will be celebrating the Fête de la Musique on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th. No need to register, just come along and enjoy the sounds. Keep your eyes peeled for more information to follow.
