WELCOME TO CATHERINE

We have the great pleasure to announce the nomination of Catherine Peacocke as our Class Coordinator starting this week. After several years in France, she recently moved back to Waikato to settle with her family. With a strong background of more than 20 years teaching French and coordinating teaching teams, Catherine's mission for the Alliance Française Hamilton will consist in coordinating classes for the benefit of our students (current and prospective), bringing the best support to our teachers and developing our relationships with the schools in Hamilton.

Thank you for joining us on the 10th of February for the special occasion of the Chandeleur.

This year we partnered with Le Rendez-Vous to make this event come to life. It is always a pleasure to see each participant enjoying some French conversation and Crêpe in a convivial environment. A huge thank you to Le Rendez-Vous for making this event exceptional!

EVENT: MARCH IS FRANCOPHONIE MONTH

The entire month of March is dedicated to French spoken around the world. 

We are organising a variety of events around "La francophonie". This month will be a great opportunity to learn more about the French language, within literature, reading performance, puns exhibition in our premises, quiz night... all while having fun.

2nd:   Breakfast 'Special Francophonie'
9th:    Quiz & Pot Luck
14th:  Literature meet and greet with Julien Blanc-Gras
20th:  Reading performance by Yasmine Attoumane from La Reunion
22nd:  Movie night "La Nuit des Rois"

All March long:
- exhibition in our premises around various types of puns in French
- workshops for French classes from High Schools
